Litterati is an app that enables individuals to have a significant and measurable impact on the environment. Rather than just picking up litter, the global community of Litterati users is creating the most comprehensive crowd-sourced dataset on litter ever compiled.

This data serves several purposes:

 <li>It helps cities optimize their waste management services.</li>
 <li>It persuades companies to adopt more sustainable practices.</li>
 <li>It provides individuals and organizations with evidence to drive policy changes at a governmental level.</li>
</ul>

In addition, Litterati displays a map highlighting your personal positive contributions to the environment.

You can participate in global cleanup challenges and organize challenges in your own community, encouraging your friends, family, neighbors, school system, or co-workers to come together and create a healthier, cleaner, and more beautiful area.

Here's how the Litterati app works:

 <li>When you encounter a piece of litter:</li>
 <ul>
 <li>Take a photo of it using the camera in the Litterati App.</li>
 <li>The app will automatically geo-tag the photo, ensuring accurate capturing of the litter's location.</li>
 <li>LitterAI, our automated tool, will then analyze each photo and add appropriate "tags" to classify the litter accurately.</li>
 </ul>
 <li>If you prefer, you can also upload photos from your phone's gallery directly to the Litterati database.</li>
 <li>Once you've taken your first photo, you can track your personal impact as well as the collective impact of the Litterati community.</li>
</ol>
